Book of tunes and other stuff

My book is off to the publisher this week! Should be available by summertime. Some of you may be interested so this serves as advance notice. I will write back when available.

The book chronicles nearly three weeks and then some in Ireland in 2003. The title and subtitle are:

Tea in Connemara An artists journey amongst the people, places, and music of Ireland

The preface was penned by Neillidh Mulligan. The book will be composed of my journal entries, images of 20 of my paintings, 5 or so photographs, and note for note transcriptions of 19 tunes as played by the likes of Mulligan, Rowsome, and McNamara in intermediate pipoing class at Drumshanbo and in their homes during private lessons. Kynch O’Kaine transcribed the tunes from recordings I had made on my journey. The tunes are suitable for all melody instruments.

I hope that you will consider a purchase when this book become available.
