Bodhran?

Well, new to the site, but liking it so far!
My question is, does anyone know of people in AUSTRALIA, preferably melbourne, that teaches the bodhran?
I know that there seems to be a dramatic drop in the popularity of bodhran players, but i just can’t help it! I love the sounds they can create.
Oh well, chew on it for a while, you may be able to think of someone! :slight_smile:

Storm, welcome to Chiff & Fipple! This will strike you as odd, I am sure, but could you post your question about bodhrans on the Poststructural Tinwhistle Forum?

We just started the ITM forum and want to reserve it for discussion of the music. You can read the FAQ and the recent thread called “cittern.”{

Thanks for understanding.

Me again!
Sorry bloomfield, i thought that due to the fact that this board is called Irish Traditional Music, and the Bodhran is a traditional instument, meant that that post was ok. That and the fact that the other one is Post…“Whistle”… sorta made me think my question didn’t belong there…but consider it understood! lol…now that i know, i won’t do it again!
Take care!
Storm.

No sweat, Storm, and thanks.
