after how many minutes is one’s name not visible to the others on the board?
Is it minutes? It seems to me that every time I post, then my name goes away. I don’t know, though.

The thingy at the bottom of the main page says it’s showing the names of those on the board in the last five minutes. Okay, actually it says this:
“This data is based on users active over the past five minutes”
Also, if you don’t want your name to show at all, you can make that change in your profile. Nice for those of us who live here and are embarrassed to be seen at all hours of the day and night.

ah, so if you are inactive for 5min your name is deleted. tough shit. 
If you log out, your name goes off the first page rather quickly. However, if you don’t click the hyperlink to log out and just close your browser, your name stays up for a while. It’s one of the great mysteries of life.
