I love Phil Bleazey’s whistles. His flutes are incredibly inexpensive (200 pounds for a boxwood with tuning slide). Has anyone played one of his flutes? I find the idea of a 300 dollar boxwood flute almost irresistable.

I have a Bleazey box wood simple flute. It has a lovely rounded tone but alas the tuning is out by quite a bit.especially the upper octave.
Ben, check the tuning cork. It should be one inner diameter from the center of the embouchure hole. If it has moved, the top octave tuning will be compromised.
