Blast from the Past... Turn of the Century Biehl Guitar

I’ve been working with a pic from my wedding for another thread, and thought you guys might enjoy seeing a beautiful guitar. It’s a Biehl, which, according to MugWumps was made by Tony Biehl, a Davenport, IA music publisher and maker of mandolins and guitars from circa 1894 until he went out of business in 1904. (And no, I’m not that old, we just had our photo taken in an antique parlor when we got married in the early 1980’s) Sorry the pic isn’t clearer, but it’s the best I could do.

It is a beautiful instrument to say the least. (I no longer own it, having traded it for a 12 string for hubby’s B-day some years back). I had the original leather case for it at one time, but mice and mildew ate it in storage. :sniffle: Luckily, I had the guitar in a newer hardshell case in the house.
