Blackbeer

Tom, I think you are so cool! When you joined this forum, you were so hungry for knowledge and you went after it, and you picked up some instruments and shared every bit of your enthusiasm with us. You said you are from the sticks and with your humble personality, you won us all over. Thank you for being such a joyful part of this community. And thanks for your posts that often make me smile.

So do I!

Carol

Up Tom!!!

Three cheers for Tom!

Absolutely!!!

Holy smokes you guys what can I say. It is all of you that make my day and give me joy and, not least of all, the motivation to keep wrestling with this cursed instrument. My life is a wealth of those I am previlaged to call my friends. I am now off to take care of the horses with a warmer coat on then I could ever buy.

Thanks you all and jeez Jessie you are something else, what a totaly nice thing to do. I am truely humbled;

Tom

Tom’s the man!

I’ve appreciated Tom on several occasions already, it’s no surprise that others feel the same ~ Go Tom

Mary

Blackbeer’s posts read like frontier poetry to me. They’re so open and expressive and honest, and paint picture after picture. Oh yeah, and he seems like a terrific fellow as well.

Cara

Tom you’re a great guy to have dealings with and a very good friend. Good health and good luck.

Tom’s unbridled enthusiasm is something I strive for, and that I hope to instill in my daughter.

I don’t care what the others say, Tom. You’re one of the nicest frequent flyers on the forum.

Cheers,
Aaron

As A fellow hick (Idaho) I too am of the opinion that Tom is a fine fellow.

Doc

Tom, I too, think you are a great guy. Hopefully I expressed it privately, but openly is much better!
Thank you Jessie for bringing this up.

Anyone who likes not only flutes, but also horses, is all right in my book!

Eric

100% of the C&F membership in the Ojai Valley thinks that Tom is a fine fellow!

Amen & encore :sunglasses:

Wow! Tom, this may be a little late, but I’d like to express my appreciation for you, too. Actually, this is my inaugural post to the Flute message center (I’m usually lurking over among the uilleann pipers), but I’ve been playing one of those evil Lark in the Morning Pakistani flutes for years and recently bought the Dixon flute from Jessi. (Jessi-hope you got the check–better hurry up and cash it!)

Back to Tom–I have no idea what you’re all raving about, but Tom must be a veritable prince of a man and I’d like to introduce him as my new best friend. Tom, if you’ll send me your mailing address I’ll put you on our Christmas card list. By the way, have you considered running for President?
