Mr. Clinton is apparently in the hospital and to undergo bypass surgery. Partisanship aside, I’d like to ask that folks said a prayer, or such, on his behalf.

I’ll pray for him. And Chelsea and Hillary, too.
His operation is going to be on Tuesday…he is quite blocked…is supposed to have a quadruple bypass.

But on second thought, remember how famous he was for loving his McDonald’s fries? I guess there’s a lot to be said for avoiding them.
They’re fried in the fat of dead cows. Reason enough to avoid them for me.
Yeah, I heard they used to fry them in the fat of live cows, but it was too hard to get the cows to stand still the whole time.
Something about this story escapes me. Why is health so bad?? couldn’t he have afforded proper healthcare YEARS AGO that could have avoided this?
He can afford the best healthcare in the entire world.
However, he eats fast food impulsively like tens of millions of Americans.
Also, very little is known about his genetic pre-disposition to heart disease because his parents died before they reached his age.

Best wishes to Bill. I had no idea about his addiction to fast food but these conditions have a much heavier genetic component than we might realise. some people who eat lots of junk food have very low cholestrol counts and no weight problem.

BTW-- that Northern Westchester Hospital, where he had his angiogram is in Mt. Kisco, as in The Maids of Mt. Kisco. Really. It’s my hometown, and I had a chance to ask Mick Moloney about that tune title-- he verified that it is indeed named for that suburban NY town. Mt. K is right next to Chappaqua where the Clintons live.
