beware of headphones!

no one’s gonna persuade me to wear freakin’ headphones  anymore.
i use to wear them while learning tunes with amazing slowdowner.
not until today i discorvered  headphones  ruin my practicing.
not that i didn’t learn new tunes that way, but i can practice much more without,
maybe i can breath through my ears :astonished:

Since wearing the headphones, had obviously deafened you to the problem, how exactly did you discover it?

deafened? not me wombat! it’s you that can’t read! grow up and breath through your ears

Oh I get it. You had the headphones on your nose and only just discovered the breathing problem? :astonished:

 try it for yourself, how long can you play with headphones, and how much without.

I gave up putting headphones on my nose years ago when I realised what it was doing to my nostrils. As for breathing through your ears, it’d better be circular breathing to impress me. :sunglasses:

Maybe you play louder with the headphones on and therefore tire out more quickly??

I had a friend once who was convinced some air came out his ears…he would plug his ears in addition to his nose when trying to get rid of the hiccups…

I sometimes wear those noise reduction ear muffs when I practice to reduce the probable hearing-loss from the high notes. I find though that I sometimes lose the ability to accurately apply the right breath pressure so I usually only do it for things like scales or exercises or to go over already-learnt tunes for freshness.
