Great photos. :astonished:

Thanks for posting those. Great room!!

I am not familiar with the set that BK is showing. Is it from the museum’s collection?

I think it’s an Egan set. It’s part of the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston - http://www.mfa.org/

Sorry, i meant this one:

Does BK ever wear anything other than jeans and denim shirt ?

RORY

…seems to work for him. Dress for success, I say!

I’m guessing it’s a Taylor set that is in BK’s care, perhaps for restoration. He also shows the famous Willie Rousome set that recently passed through the hands of Jim Maguire, Dr. Blevins, and Kevin Rowsome.

The Taylor set appears to have been subjected to much the same treatment as the Touhey/Carney/Busby/McKeirnan Taylor set, with a decorative edge filed into the reg keys and an “anti-fart” valve on the mainstock.

And is that a theramin embedded in the bass drone resonator? :boggle:

Nice photos and inteersting looking pipes. The Boston Museum Egan was discussed a year or so ago on the forum and the general opinion based on the photos was that it had probably been misassembled to create the differential bass regulators . Did BK confirm this.

The Taylor set - along with the theremin bass drone are the keys profiled to give a saw tooth wave

Why do all these intersting talks have to be anywhere but the UK
