I really like the “alternative” wood and leather hinge. It looks like a relatively easy conversion if you wanted to get away from the leather strap hinge. Hmmmm, the wheels are turning!
That’s the method I have on my Benson bellows that I mentioned earlier. What I like about it is that you can easily adjust the tension.
