Just out of curiosity, does Erwin Bauer Oesch Jr. have a website that shows the makes and models of his piccolos?
This is more out of curiosity than anything else, so not a big deal.

I assume that it is in the key of D, but I am not sure, it could be Bb.
The page says that it derives from the regular piccolo flute (halbe/Piccolo-Querflöte) which is tuned to D, as opposed to the fife (Querpfeife). You might want to ask Tom Aebi about those piccolos. I know for sure that he makes them (even if not commercially I think), and he’ll most certainly be able to tell you everything about them - after all, he’s from Basel as well!
