We are entering our hot dry summer season and I am having a little problem with the base drone. Periodically, and especially if I let up on the bag pressure, the base drone drops down a fifth (or is it a fourth–not sure). Interesting effect–but not really what I want. Anyone else ever encounter this? Solutions?
It seems to be that the drone is overblowing (or rather “underblowing”). Some people make use of this when making dronereeds. So - you might try a bigger “blob” on the tongue.

Problem solved…I moved the bridle (?) down a little–which seemed to fix the problem.
