banjo

In the market for a 17 fret Tenor banjo at a reasonable price for a beginner.

Hi,

If you’re after a new banjo, check out those by Gold Tone. Good entry/intermediate instruments at excellent prices.

If you’re looking for a used one, try the ads at banjohangout.com

Be careful on Ebay and such. A lot of the older instruments are often missing pieces or in need of enough repair that they cost more than a new one. Just my personal opinion though.

Sorry. That’s dot org, not dot com.

Thanks for the information. I have been lurking at Banjo Hangout for a couple of weeks. And I have bought and sold enough Highland pipes on Ebay to be very aware of all that goes on. So far, knock on wood, I have been very successful in purchasing pipes. But then again, I know quite a bit about pipes and the questions to ask. Or the angle of pictures that I ask for.
In an ideal world, I would find someone that would like to trade a set of Highland pipes for a nice tenor banjo.
