Saw/heard/danced/rocked with Baka Beyond at Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa last night…what a great experience!!! Their latest album East to WEst has a slightly more celtic feel to it than some of their prior CDs.
Martin Cradick adn Paddy Le Mercier are a great guitar/fiddle team, and vocals by Su Hart and Denise Rowe were wonderful… at one point Le Mercier started playing something that looked and sounded like a flageolet, but the feedback was a bit rough (sound guys were having a rough night).
And at one point a local musician got up on stage with his…TROMBONE!!! 
Too bad the uilliann piper doesnt tour with them.
Anyway, these folks are wonderful and go see them if they ever do a gig in your town. YOu wont be disappointed.
