Has anyone ever tried or considered trying to make a duct tape bag?
You have to have a seam in leather, whereas you could make a duct tape bag that was continious. It is tough, durable, and cheap. You could easily repair it if it was damaged. And it would be cool because duct tape is cool.
This is an experiment that must be tried. How many rolls of duct tape do you suppose it would take?
You’d need an inner layer/bag, perhaps made out of a large trash bag.
My old leather bag was held together with duct tape worked for a while but gave out in the end

I’m gonna try it! I’ve already made duct tape wallets and tool belts and so forth. I can’t believe I didn’t think of a duct tape bag already! It seems so obvious now! I’ll let you all know how it turns out. I need some more duct tape.
To think of all of the $ I wasted on renting tuxedo’s for proms…

The duct tape bag is done! I will post pictures soon! It’s cool! I made a duct tape blowpipe to go with it(really garden hose with duct tape). I had a little trouble getting the duct tape valve thingie to work, it kept leaking air back to the bellows. I weighted it with a dab of rubber cement and it’s closing better now. My dad says the bag is “really awesome.” 
Brilliant. Looking forward to seeing the pics. 
What’s next? Bags made of papier mâché? Chanters made of cheese? Billiard-ball bass drone resonators? 
That would be cool. Fancy one with a number 8. Actually, a skull resonator would be pretty cool too, to match Mr. Smith’s buckle. 
There have been a few old ivory billiard balls used for mounts and resonators.

The valve in the blowpipe still isn’t working perfectly, but I can use my real blowpipe if I want to. No way am I going to tie my drones into the duct tape bag, but this way I can go back to having a practice set in case I ever need to. And it’s just so duct tape-y!

BTW, I’ve heard that Leo Rowsome used use billiard balls as a source of ivory or faux ivory when he couldn’t get ivory tusks.
