I have just spent four hours getting rid of a worm.
Could have been doing something a lot more fun.
Whilst there is lots of ways to have picked up,
this evil little ****** there is a good chance it was
from C&F.
So perhaps it would not be a bad thing for every
body to check their computers, it would seem
that it tends to lurk in windows system files.

I have a program, called system suite.3,and I run a deep scan for viruses every two weeks
and defrag at the same time. But it had not found any problem, however the computer was do’ing strange things, so I went on line and updated the program, and it found it right away. But It could not remove the virus,It was in two windows system files, so I took the choice to deleat the files. I then reinstaled windows.
But if you go on line with the key word Badtrans.B you can get alsorts of help to get rid of the little blighter.
Hi Folks,
From what I remember, if you use 98Me and have system restore enabled you won’t be able to delete the infected cab. files. Some anti-virus sites don’t mention this. You need to disable system restore first and then manually remove the infected files. You can then enable sys. restore again which will then take effect from that time/day.
