Back in Dublin

Hey all,

Even though I only spent my early childhood in Dublin, I’ve hoped to return for a long time and finally made the transatlantic leap this past February. Can’t tell you how good it felt to dust off my Irish passport.

I’m in the unenviable position of job-hunting (which means I can’t afford lessons and tionóls just yet), but I’d love to get connected with other folks in town who might be willing to help me plug into the Dublin piping community. I’m really excited about making some new friends and improving my facility on this wonderful instrument. I play a Michael Vignoles half set with a Seth Gallagher D chanter. Looking forward to biking over to The Cobblestone Bar later this evening for The Session With The Pipers.

If you prefer, feel free to email me off-board or by private message.

Hope to hear from you!
Jason

Welcome home, where in Dublin are you living ?

RORY

Right about…here.

I’d say a trip by #15 Henrietta Street would get you off to a good start.
We missed you at the tionol in Gainesville this year.
