Oh, I didn’t know that! I was watching a little but I went out and planted some rutabagas and didn’t see the rest.
My son watched it though…I’ll ask him about it tomorrow. See if he noticed.

for you. I did hear Irish music and a whistle whaling away in the sad scene. But, of course the end credits were over on the side and ran too fast for the human eye to see. So it might have been the Chieftans!

Yes, you heard a whistle that was indeed played by Paddy Moloney and the Chieftains. The tune is called “Protected by Angels” and is in one of the “sad” parts of the movie as you accurately pointed out. I am recording this, as I feel it is a most beautiful tune.
