Yes there is, Fear not you are not alone. 
There is a group of us who meet every week for an informal get together where you can play along and learn on the illean pipes,low and high whistles,bodhran and anything else you think might be of interest. This little group is chaired by the famous or should that be infamous mr Brian Howard. Everybody is welcome from complete novice upwards.Time and venue as follows :-
