Can everyone please keep an ear to the ground for a Ruddle & Rose flute that went astray at the Girvan Folk Festival over the Bank Holiday weekend. It was in a soft black canvas case about 30cm(l)X10cm(d)X20cm(w). As you can imagine its owner is keen for its safe return and we are sure it can’t have travelled too far from Girvan at this time so if you know anyone returning from the festival or know musicians living around Scotland, please mention it to them. If anyone has any information please contact Tom Leedale on 01274 872 906 or 07752 606 386.
Thanks for any help you can give

Here’s a better description of the flute. Whoever has it may consider restoration as it is slightly damaged so if you know anyone who provides flute maintenance around NI, Scotland and England please mention this flute to them as it may pass through their hands at some stage
Thanks for everyones help

Black wooden flute
5 keys
Crack on back of 2nd joint running up to the B flat key
Crack on 3rd joint running up to the F sharp hole
Bottom 2 holes have key housings but no keys fitted
Crack on rear of 3rd joint
Keys not polished, fairly tarnished
Has a stamp on the body, may say ‘Hargreaves’
