Azaleas and stuff.

Here are some shots I took a few hours ago, at Honor Hts. Park in Muskogee:

There are many dogwood trees there:

And this is the view through the trees and bushes from the peak of the hill:

This is dogwood and azaleas together:

And this is another pond in the same park.

And one last dogwood and azalea shot by one of the ponds:

Thanks Walden. I now have hope that Spring is moving northward.

That’s what it looks like here, too. I love spring.

I’m jealous.

The daffodils are blooming, some of the tulips are showing color, and the peonies are sending up new shoots. One can see where the lilac buds are forming, but they may not be in bloom by the Lilac Parade in mid-May. I spent most of Monday planting potatoes, since some had sprouted and I had them growing in a pot in the house. Most of those suffered frost damage last Tuesday when it snowed. But it’s supposed to be summery this weekend, with highs in the low 60s to mid-70s, so maybe flowers will pop then.

Very Pretty. Here in the UK we have had cherry blossom for a while, and forsythia, and the cowslips and bluebells are out now too.

Three days ago, I saw my first flowers, the spring ephemeral.
The first one is Siberian squill

I do not know the other two that flowered and are in someone’s garden.

(Sorry about that grainy one, didn’t want to step on their property.)

Hi Spring!

The purple one is crocus. I’ve seen the white one but can’t remember the name.
