First of all Thanks Rich and Dale and whoever else helped in getting us back up and going. It’s been very stressful not to be able to check in here.
Now on with the post.
Contrary to some speculation, Avanutria is a real person. She stopped by my place here in Clarinda on her way west on Sunday evening with her next stop scheduled for Lander, Wyoming on Monday evening.
Thoroughly enjoyed sharing music and trying each others whistles and flutes. Beth has some really nice tunes she has composed. One is called “Dallas Skys” for after the Challenger disaster. The other, which I like even better has not been named…I think she’s waiting 'til she gets to Ireland for the inspiration and the naming.
Her new toy, the concertina, was fun so of course I’m drooling to get one of my own. Had my first chance to try a Copeland Low D and Mack’s White Tops. Much fun. Looking for the next opportunity to hook up and share again.
