People have occassionally remarked on Cohen’s generousity as a lover, as displayed memorably in Famous Blue Raincoat, but in this recording it’s clear that he has been very generous as a performer; the show he’s touring runs to 26 tracks over two full length CDs. Full a man in his mid seventies, that’s a full night’s work.
