I noticed that I didn’t say WHY I liked the Freeman Tweaked Feadog D so much.
It’s because my favourite D of all time is the old Feadog I’ve been playing since around 1980. To me, it’s exactly what a D whistle should be.
The ONLY whistle I’ve ever played that’s like it in sound and performance is a Freeman Tweaked Feadog. Somehow it magically recreates all the wonderful playing characteristics of that classic Feadog.
