I present to you the shvi:

Now let’s shvi who’s the first to buy one! :smiling_imp:

It’s so pretty.

Good find, Glauber. Funny how much it looks like a Sweet “professional”.

Also the fingering seems akin to “German” system recorders, but it seems like the bottom hole would sound one half-tone above bell instead of a full tone.

It makes me crave a Red Ruben’s Sanded Shvi, too…

And Mike McGoldrick’s (in)famous 2-shvis trick!

Your post confuses me.
I doubt if the bottom hole is played.
Its probably an exhaust vent allowing for a longer tube.
If you plugged it, you would most likely get a semitone below the

which isn’t remarkable.

Buy for now.

how do you contact him?

It isn’t immediately clear but there is a back hole between the top 2 front holes, I assume this is tuned in the same way as the Duduk.

XxX X X X X 0 Tonic 1 (over simplistic but needs must)

Xo0 0 0 0 0 0 Octave Tonic 1

XxX X X X 0 0 Tonic 2

From the Six finger and thumb hole this gives the following scale in ratios

9/9 = 1/1 Tonic
9/8 = Just Major tone
9/7
9/6 = 3/2 Just 5th
9/5
18/9 = 2/1 Octave Tonic
