To get back OT, I reeded a de Keyser once (concert ). If I remember correctly, it was similar to a Froment in tone (by that I mean a certain amount of tonal softness/dullness/retentiveness/mellowness (or however you perceive it/describe it.)) , but tuning was a little tricky in the 2nd 8ve. That’s no indication of his overall work.
