That has to be BS. I understand the noise polution thing but this is rediculous! What is a pipe band if it’s not loud? No more hairs tingling on the back of your neck… there’s too much govt. & too many laws on both sides of the Atlantic unfortunately.

What really kills me is that they say they’re doing this to protect the performer. Well, if the performer is having such a problem with the volume they’d take up a different hobby. And does anyone really want to go listen to a symphony if the orchestra is wearing ear plugs? I don’t think so.

My point was that the double standard of multiculturalism doesn’t apply so much to the native population. Then, there’s an insinuation that me making that observation makes me a racist. Since that charge is sometimes worse than murder in the US (cf. O.J. Simpson trial), I felt compelled to defend my position.
