Are you wanted by the recording industry?

Hmmm, I had heard about that, personally, I dont think its going to work.
At least when it comes to music, students make up a majority of p2p sharers and you cant get any money from students (everyone knows that :stuck_out_tongue: ) nor will it be very easy (if its even possible) to “scare” sharers into avoiding it so they wont be hauled off into court. Best thing that could come out of this is schools take an active part in watching and procecuting students who are using their networks to share.

I personally, as a musician, I dislike the idea of p2p “sharing” since it hurts the artists (who are attempting to make a living) so much more then it hurts the industry, and its seriously damaging the industry. In the future I’d like to put out some CD’s and the idea that some people might wish to save a couple bucks at my expense is kinda painful.
