Does anyone know of anything going on in Charlotte, North Carolina, next week?

I will there on a business trip and would love to be able to take a break from the sharks … er … the legal professionals for whom I will be providing computer support services.

I live about 1 1/2 hours from Charlotte. I do know there is an Irish pub there called Ri Ra. They occasionally have trad. sessions. Here’s a link to their web site:

I live about 80 miles north of Charlotte, but I don’t know anything about what’s going on there. As Steve suggests, check out Ri Ra. It has a nice atmosphere, and they serve a terrific Guiness. (Which prompts the question: Why does Guiness taste different in different pubs? Actually, Murphy’s is that way too.)
