anyone playing online games?

See topic title. Does anyone of you play online games, whatever they are?

WoW. Detheroc server, level 55 tauren shaman.

One. (Combat level 88! )

Which one, Cynth?

Well, don’t make fun of me. Runescape. Me and several hundred thousand vicious 12 year old boys!

Reversi

I’m totally addicted.

Diablo 2.
We have Warcraft 3 but our PC doesn’t have enough memory to run it adequately. One of these days we’ll upgrade it.
We also have Starcraft. My son was in one of the clans for a while, and got so good nobody would play with him. His friend Dominic can regularly beat him, though. He’s in the same clan. They can both beat me into a cocked hat.
My son also plays one of the MUD Discworld games. I tried it once and last all of thirty seconds. A crowd gathered around to watch me bleeding…

NWN, COH, and COV. Though with this semester’s school schedule I don’t have much time to play.

Nice to read that there are gamers in here as well.

I play Unreal Tournament for about 6.5 years now (since they released it, and still addicted…). Also sometimes RPGs like Morrowind or Ultima, or other shooters like Quake 3 and so on. But mostly UT.

The clan scene of UT once was very huge but after 6 years it’s nearly dead now. I played in various clans and founded one myself, which still exists as an group of friends chatting and meeting several times a year for a chat and a pint.

Nevertheless I still run a gaming server with a friend.

My son found UT on his school computer, left there by previous gamers. Never did find out if they were pupils or staff. We got a couple of copies and I (oops) have it on my work laptop. We’ve never played online, but we have had networked games at home.

I’ve had various Baldur’s Gate games for years, but I’ve never played them online, although I understand that is possible.

UT is AWESOME. So is NWN. I designed most of the maps for a friends persistent world a while back. I wonder if he’s still running that… I never did really play NWN online. The single player was incredible, though.

I used to play StarCraft, and played Warcraft III for a little while.

I also played Star Wars Galaxies back when it was good. Or… bearable?

I play Yahoo euchre and cribbage.

I’ll pop on to Neopets every so often, but the company is really quite sinister and evil so I’m trying to cut back.

That Neopets, I could never figure out what the game was exactly. I fed my pet and played the mini-games but I couldn’t figure out the overall scheme. I’m afraid my pet must be long dead by now. Poor Grinnella!

Hattrick. Brilliant online football (soccer for you jankies who don’t know what football is :stuck_out_tongue:) manager game. Free game, very addictive, played all around the world.

You’re not the only one Cynth!

I don’t have the money to shell out for Warcraft, or the time to play enough that I feel I’m getting my money’s worth.

Sometimes I feel like quite a few posters are playing online games. So to speak.

(back to your regularly scheduled thread theme…)

I used to play Diablo (the first one, the expansion, then number 2 and the expansion) since it first came out. But the last couple of years I haven’t been able to play it. I also used to play Starcraft. Now-a-days I don’t do much online gaming. Rarely play video games anymore either. I kinda miss it…

Currently WoW, shadowsong server, level 32 horde warlock, level 30 alliance hunter.

UT 2004 but only with people I know.
I was into that Warhammer for awhile but it got boring.

Otherwise I only play single player.
