I was just browsing a site about hurdy-gurdys and came across this little blurb:

Came across another maker in Cantabria Spain on a Gaita site:
David Lopez Garcia, makes wooden low whistles (a rarity) and gaitas.
You never know who could be the maker of the next most sought after whistle
I need to get a better job to fork out some experimental whistle buying projects.
