I was wondering if anyone had one of the above…and if so, what you think…
Domnahl is a wonderful guy to talk to, and very friendly. I ordered a low D from him but it had too little back pressure for my taste (i.e. it was a “soft blower”). The sound was very nice, though. I returned the whistle and was immediately refunded. If you like “soft blowers” like for example the Dixon low D, a Domnahl low D could be a nice option. If you prefer “middle blowers”, in that price range I would suggest a Merlin, or a Susato.

I have one, and I love it !!!
the latest version of his whistles get the thumbs up from me and he is a top guy as well.
the ones on ebay at the moment are his new ones i say give it a go 
The one I have is only a few months old so assume that it is one of ‘his new ones’ too - certainly looks that way. It is as new and only been used for a few hours. Check the link above. If you are after a quiet easy player then this does both of those things…
