anybody make fipples only?

I know that Mack Hoover makes his whitecaps but is there anyone else that makes fipples I could put onto say…a Generation D tube? See, I’m bidding on a pair of old Gen D’s and the fipple on one of them has been chewed to bits. Not that I need another whistle but…I don’t own a Gen D(I have a G, F, and Eflat) and if I had a spare tube I think it would be cool to try it out with a different fipple. I’ve been a whistle player for nearly a decade and 1/2 and suddenly I’m stricken with WhOA! I already own 12 whistles and 2 fifes and now I just bought another whistle(a Parkhurst!) and a fife…as well as a nach Meyer simple system flute! I still plan to buy a whistle in A in the very near future(probably an S.Z.B.E. not only for the sound but for the uniqueness of owning an irish instrument made in japan that doesn’t suck!) And I want a low G as well…and a decent C since the Calura I bought is more show than go…ok…I’ll shut up now!

You might check with Gary Humphrey to see if he has any Retro-Fit Heads left. They were very good.

Don’t forget that Mack Hoover also make Blacktops, a somewhat different animal made of Delrin. My favorite D sports a Blacktop.

See if the Generation Eb fipple will fit the Generation D
