Edited . . . the books have found a happy home!
I still have some more boxes to empty and shelves to clear, so if I find any more I’ll come back and post them.
I had no idea it would be so easy!
I actually did complete 3 sweaters in my college days, all of which I later gave away. I started another project last year, which is currently languishing in my closet. Too much to do, and I can’t knit auto-pilot enough to not pay attention. Plus, I rarely sit still except at the computer. I like the idea though, but have the only book I need.
I’m a knitter, but I tend towards laceweight, airy stuff, and not too much toward sweaters.
Currently in the middle of what feels like the world’s largest shawl. This thing is endless.
Now, if you’re trying to place the Walker books. . .
What Walker books?
The Knitting Without Tears book by Elizabeth Zimmerman is considered to be one of the classic knitting books. I’m sure someone will come along and adopt it. I think it is probably most helpful to someone who already knows the basics and is ready for some different ways of doing things—my memory may be faulty though.
I guess I missed the original post. Did someone get their knitters in a kwist?

No, I just had a couple of choice knitting books to give away. Didn’t want to give them to the Salvation Army or to the public library for the rummage sale–they’d not value them.
sorry, I’m a crochet-er, not a knitter. Spent all weekend making hats and scarves for Christmas presents (I love some of the new “novelty” yarns available).
