Well, first my apologies that I assumed you were a spammer. Sorry about that, and welcome to the boards!
I gave your MP3 a listen again…all the way through this time…definitely a rock band, but I’m not hearing anything about it that sounds like or relates to Irish trad music at all. Just a bunch of drums and guitar riffs.
I’ve played the tune Drowsy Maggie for years; I just can’t hear it in the wailings of the guitar. Maybe it’s just my ears; others will likely give a listen and can perhaps be of more assistance to you.

I gave it a listen to one of the files, and came away with much of the same impressions James did. It wasn’t a very clear recording, though, so that could be part of it.

Ok so here is the best recording i’ve found. Some dj used it in his mixtape so forget about those lyrics hehe.. 1st part - Drowsy maggie cover with extended drum break in the middle of the song.. and after that , the second song that - might be some new version or something. Check it out !
