I’m curious if anyone here has had an opportunity to play one of Glenn Schultz Wooden Low F whistles?

Glenn don’t make no junk!!
I have a wooden D and high G of his, both of which ae terrific. His Water Weasel low G is one of my favorites, so I imagine a low F in wood would be equally excellent. The Weasel is a a fussy sumbitch ( his own word), and wouldn’t sell a whistle that wasn’t up to par. Buy it!

Oh yeah, I’m familiar with Glenn’s work: I’ve got wooden D Weasels in Cocus and Bird’s Eye Maple, plus PVC Weasels in E, Bb, A, and Low G. Great whistles one and all!
Still, it’s always nice to get some feedback on a particular whistle in a maker’s line. You know how it is, most makers produce certain key whistles that are significantly better than their whistles in other keys.
I’ve not heard much about Glenn’s Low F whistles, especially the wooden variety, so it seems wise to ask. I have no doubt the workmanship is top notch, I’m just curious about playing characteristics since I’m sort of fussy about certain things - For example: I tend to dislike whistles that lack a solid bell note.
I can’t believe we don’t have at least a couple of folks out there who’ve played a Low F Wooden Weasel!

I’ve not played the F whistle, Loren, but I just got a pristine wooden Weasel in A that came in for resale just today (soon to be posted on my website). Nice player, indeed!
If you’ve never met Glen, he’s a gem. Actually, he’s an accordian player. His daughter is the flute player of the family. Got to meet and play with him a bit while living in Michigan. Interesting guy.
I will say I love the logo on his business card! Should be a T-shirt!
Heck, I’ve hung out and helped Glenn sell whistles on occasion, and I’ve never even seen a Wooden Low F. The Wooden Low Gs I’ve tried have been amazing.
I’ve got Water Weasel Low F, though, and it’s a very nice whistle. (Though Kevin Crawford didn’t agree. ) Takes big hands to play it – the stretch is almost the same as my O’Riordan Low D.
