If you’re still looking for the name of the restaurant, would it have been Gaj’s ? not sure of the exact spelling, but pronounced (and not spelt ) Guy’s.
Best burgers, apple pie with cream, coffee & company in town.
Run by Polish people if my memory is correct.

I had tea, apple pie and cream one night there with John Kelly (senior) after a session in O’Donohue’s and also with the Boomtown Rats after Baggot Inn - I think.

Those were the days,eh?.
I can never remember who I did what with in those days,but Donoughes,Toners,the Pembroke and all that area was a regular stomping ground..and by the Lord did I stomp. :smiley: .
