I’m waiting too man…
Might try subscribing to the Green Linnet newsletter - I’m sure they’ll be doing some promoting as soon as the CD is out. Lunasa starts a U.S. tour the end of February and through March, and then Japan in April, so I’d think the CD will be out in time for all of that (hope, hope). In the meantime, get the Niall/Cillian Vallely CD, Callan Bridge. I really like it and don’t find myself in severe Lunasa withdrawal while listening to it.

At the Lunasa gig on Dec’ 5th, Kevin Crawford
said that Redwood would be on sale Feb’ 2003.
They then played a couple of tunes from it which were …nope! Dont want to spoil the
anticipation.

Actually, I got this CD for Tradgirl (my sister Linsey) and we really like it!
Any clue on how long it should take for me Mike McGoldrick cd from 101cds.com (a UK vendor) to arrive. It was ordered on 122202.
thanks!

I only heard a couple of clips, Amar, after lots of searching. Actually the clip I heard that made me buy the CD was Humours of Tullycrine which you can hear (if you’re willing to spend some time on it) at http://www.wfuv.org …it’s in the Thousand Welcomes section, I believe, but I don’t recall the date of the broadcast. You can search the playlists by date - as I recall I was listening to this at the end of December. Eldarion might remember as he was listening to it too. (The CD was released in October, however, so we may have been listening to a broadcast from November or December.) Don’t know if that helps; otherwise, just take my word for it!

Amar: This may no longer be something you are looking for, but if you are, just go here- it gives you 30 second sound bites to the tunes.

Another suggestion as a withdrawal remedy: this is not a newly released CD (came out in 1999), but the artist was completely new to me as was the disk. He is a Scottish piper and whistler named Fred Morrison and the CD is a mixture of border pipes and low whistle. The whistling is excellent.
