I just went on Thewhistleshop.com to check prices on these whistles, and it said that they were “discontinued” as of last April. Does anybody know why? Will they continue production? Any info?

Yes, they are discontinued. I don’t know if Phil Hardy plans on making them any more, but I haven’t seen any indications of it.
If you want a low-A, Phil’s got a couple left, and he’s selling them for a great price. Otherwise, Lark in the Morning still has a few in stock.
