If you’ve got a Mac you don’t need to worry about any of this stuff, as long as you keep your version of OSX up to date. The porn hosting etc. is all done on Windows machines and the Mac is immune to that malware. I don’t even have antivirus installed on my Mac, but I do have the software firewall turned on; I wouldn’t want to be connected to the internet on any computer without some sort of firewall running.
