Another "what whistle is the best whistle for this?&quo

 “Learn to play a new song, for the love of god!”
:astonished: “That thing is killing my ears… look! The cat just tried to commit Sepukku!”

With the move, I’m afraid that my whistles are well packed… now, why I packed my whistles, I cant begin to tell you. But at the moment, thats where they are… packed… in the basement, and cursing me and my entire knowledge of three or so songs and a few little snippets.

So now… I’m looking into getting a whistle with a warmer tone, something that isnt so sharp or shrill. I’d say, I’m looking for a good warm scotch as opposed to a sweet tangy meade.

My favorite whistle thus far has been the (Poison) Oak (yep, no idea what happened to it or where it is :frowning: I believe it is a casualty of the move.) It was a bit high, but it had a mellower body to the sound.

Am I making sense?

I would -really- love to get my hands on a wooden whistle, but I have a feeling that they are all 100.00+ Yeah?
