Yikes!
No wonder the room was spinning the other night when I amped my Kerry Low D through a stompbox set to the second sub-octave (i.e. low, LOW, LOW D). I was all ready to blame the whistle! ![]()
I have always thought that those super woofers for cars were annoying but knowing that they are dangerous to the user’s health just tickles me pink.

Not trying to be an annoying harpy here, but notice, too, that the victims were invariably smokers.
Well, yes, this is true… but having felt that heavy bass at concerts (and I’m not a really thin male smoker), where I thought my chest was doing some sort of rhumba, I feel like there is still some basis for the vibrations playing a part in it all. You should check out Hans Jenny’s cymatics experiments to see the effects that sound/vibrations can have! Pretty cool stuff. ![]()
Best,

Yep. I’ve accidently been in a loud music venue in the early stages of a pregnancy, and remember feeling that I somehow had to protect my womb from the sound vibrations.
btw Ad…if we scrolled to the right a bit on your pic there, would there be wings? ![]()
Unfortunately, earlier today I had an accident where my wings were somehow snipped right off. It’s very sad. I will somehow have to manage to go on.
I also, in the same accident, managed to lose the great cleavage too. ::sigh:: Life is so unfair!
