Another New Whistler

Edit: Blogger is apparently checking the referrer, so the picture only worked for me on preview because it was already in my cache. Click here to see it.

I think the really good ones start that young! She definitely looks like a very serious little whistler.

How cool!

At the ST. Louis Tionól last month, in the intermediate whistle class, there were three or four little girls under 9 who were well on their way, and a young man who just turned twelve, I believe, in the advanced class, who was already “up there”.

It’s great to see… and hear!

The picture isn’t working for me.

Is she shorter than 4 foot or is she playing a low D?

Try double-clicking on it.

I had to right click on the red X, go to ‘properties’, copy the URL and paste it in the address box, click ‘go’ and then I could see it, even when I came back here. Don’t know why, but sometimes I have to do that with every pic for a couple of days… at least I figured out how.

Yes, that worked. Thanks!

I was playing (flute) in a local park today and over the course of 90 minutes or so three or four small children (with their parents) paid their compliments. A few started some impromptu jigging. It was neat.

It’s a shame that any day now, mosquito hatchings will make this impossible.

Thanks for pointing this out; it didn’t work for me, either, when I got to work. I’ve edited the top post.
