I’ll not go into great detail, but I’ll just say, sitting the way women sit is not physically ahem comfortable, for men.
Me nads cry out at the thought. 
Y’know, he looks like he knows exactly what’s going on. And his hands ARE keeping the kilt’s edge taut, whereas normally the weight of the sporran would pull everything downward for a less racy effect. But maybe he’s just nervous and fidgeting, what with sitting next to Herself and all.
Maybe he’s doing it on purpose… wonder what the queen thinks about his little indiscrepency

Possibly…just look at the expression on his face. That looks like “I’m gonna get me a date face” if I ever saw one.
Well, I’d hate to be the one to tell him, but… that view ain’t gonna do much to improve date prospects.
