I have aquired a old flute from my old pipe teacher who’s down on his luck. the flute is a 9-key pin-mounted,cocuswood,silver rolled and etched embouchre ferrule and I believe the rings, keywork and tone-hole linings are nickel silver. the flute plays nicely and I paid $100 to get it(actually this was a loan, but I doubt I ever see the money or person again). I suspect it to be german as there are no makers stamp- there is however
X’s marked below several key post. would anyone know the est. value and age of this flute?
Hi. Would it be possible to post a picture? Kind of hard to tell without seeing…
