Hi ole,
I looked on both JC’s Tune Finder:
http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/music/abc/findtune.html
and…
The Session:
http://www.thesession.org/
.. but could find nothing. I also searched for The Yellow Boy and just Yellow but nothing closely related came up.
Good luck in your search,
Patrick.
Hi
I was actually listening to ‘The return from Fingal’ as I read your post.
Peter Browne reckons that the tune is a variant on the Lark in the Morning.
cheers
John
Writing from memory, I have a suspicion that the tune is also known as the Lark’s March, but don’t quote me on that.
Hello: I have found the tune it is also called "The yellow little boy " as Patrick have written. Thanks.
Take a look at the link if you are interested. It is a very fine tune. And you can get some input if you are going to listening to Tommy Keanes version and playing.
Ole
