There are weirder laws on the books in the US.
In many states it is still illegal to have sex in any position other than the missionary position.
I’m not sure why I know that, however. I think amar told me.
I can’t believe they’ve kept that stupid law for this long… 
Ha. I think they should say they’ll only repeal the law if the “Journalists of Color” meeting accepts white people.
I’ve got a whole book of sex laws. Michigan has some horribly severe penalties for various innocuous sexual practices.
Do they let in English people if they bring their own tea? I heard there was a bit of a kerfuffle a while ago.
This is fairly crucial to my plans for the coming fortnight.

Last evening, strolling up to Sainsbury’s in the rain, the following conversation took place:
Beth: Have you considered taking tea bags for the trip?
Martin: Yes, I thought I’d take 80.
Beth: Will that be enough? You should allow for four or five cups a day, and we’ll be there for two weeks.
Martin: and 14 times 5 is?
Beth: …oh. (grin)

Why, in many parts of America, is it considered offensive to call people “colored,” but many organizations still use that word?
Perhaps it’s not so much offensive as a PC term that has
come and gone, and, as a term that passed (in PC circles),
gets associated with “throwbacks.” At various times the
following have each been the “preferred” terminology:
Negro, Colored, Black, Afro-American, African American.
Note that the term persons of color is still current, and can
denote persons of most any race besides Caucasian.

they used to have signs over drinking fountains, wc’s, waiting rooms ect saying “colored only”. these signs i remember well, as well as some incidents that were very troubling.
they could also start with giving some of the stolen land back.
don’t think they need it. with the tons of money they are making off their casinos, tis a way bit more that they can make off the land. the americans are payin em back that is for sure.

here in michigan, depending on which tribe they are profiting to the tune of 1k or more pre week per person. that is man women or child.
