Amazing slow downer problem

I downloaded micho russell’s rolling in the rye grass from brother steve’s site but the amazing slow downer won’t play it. Any ideas?

Brian,
Is the file you want to play in the proper format? i.e., wav, mp3. If so, I have no idea what the problem is. You might want to email the Roni folks. But before that you might want to re-download the file from Bro Steve’s site. Another thing to try would be to uninstall ASD and re-install it.

Bro Steve’s files have an mp3.mpga extension. renaming to mp3 works for most but Rolling in the rye grass by Micho Russell gives an error in the amazing slow downer , yet real player plays it OK - wierd.

I just downloaded it and I got the same results as you. Strange.

There are a LOT of options in MP3 - and not all systems can handle all of them… I’ve had great fun with my little MP3 player when for some reason my MP3 software saved files at 81kbps instead of 80 :slight_smile:

Anyway… its probably worth importing into something like Audacity and then saving again.

Opening the mp3 in audacity and saving as wav worked. Couldn’t save as mp3
