Thanks for bringing up this topic, I too hope someone can answer this question soon. I remember considering one of those last year, but never had the guts to actually go ahead and get one.

Each whistle is completely hand made in Leeds and voiced by the maker for perfect pitch and intonation. The main body is available in a choice of exotic hardwoods and is fitted with precision turned brass fittings. The unique brass lip plate is hand filed and polished for volume and tonal quality then finally positioned on the whistle for perfect pitch. The whistle also incorporated a brass tuning slide for pitch variation ( very useful in some sessions!) A sound investment for the serious whistle player. Our picture shows from top to bottom …Rosewood, Purple Heart, Maple, African Blackwood, Pink Ivory. Please note: All Allen & Ross deluxe whistles are supplied with a ‘Extreme Protection’ padded gig bag.

Sounds good, but as for me, right now I’m perfectly satisfied with my Busman, Bocote in D

I’m not in the market for a new whistle right now, but I have written them and asked them if they’d be interested in having me write a review of their whistles, since they seem to be relatively unknown here. I’ll let you know if they respond favorably.
