For those wee ones in the little ilse of the Americas…QVC is having their Rose of Tralee sales all day today!! I have been listening to Irish Tin Whistle as well as seeing dancers…between the selling of Irish Wares…bad bad thing…listening while on computer…too easy to hit “quick shop” button. So far,…I have purchased an irish ruana…reverible…blue heather on one side…blue plaid on the other…to go with it…I am purchasing an Irish woollen purse…(could hold a number of tin whistles ladies!!) Sigh…then I saw a BEAUTIFUL braclet…Aye Carumba!!! But the music is great…and my newbie ears are listening to that ornamentation!!!
And now I know why I can’t affored more whistles. I saw your message and called out to my beloved: “Martha, what cable channel is QVC?” The answer “317” came back quicker than if I’d asked her hair color.
Darlingsugarpiebaby, what one wears or doesn’t wear is not what determines if a person is TV (or TS or what have you). If it was that simple you could put a dress on and claim to be a transvestite; you would not be.
Well, QVC’s been running sort of in background for three hours now. Nothing but jewelry, expensive knicknacks, even more expensice glassware adn occasional textile good.
Actually, my bloodpressure is what’s up. The side effects of my medicine I’m on are: high blood pressure, weight gain, and hair loss (I kid you not!). Don’t I have a lot to look forward to?
I must be on the same medicine! If only hair weighed more.
